Meet Your Coach: Who is Niina Carita?
If we haven’t met yet, I’m Niina Carita, a 40-year-old Muay Thai Champion from Finland, now living in Los Angeles. My own martial arts journey began 24 years ago in 2002, and today, I am making a lifelong dream come true by opening my very own online Muay Thai Academy!

Muay Thai is widely recognized as one of the most effective martial arts in the world. Inside my Muay Thai Academy and community you will master the 'art of eight limbs' Muay Thai through a mix of:
Deep dive monthly courses
Weekly live streams (we train together)
Direct personal feedback: Send me your training videos, and I will personally review your form and track your progress
You don’t need any equipment, and you don’t need to be in shape to join. This academy is built specifically for absolute beginners with zero Muay Thai experience.
It is the perfect fit if you:
Have between 0 to 1 year of Muay Thai experience
Want to learn Muay Thai from a practical self-defense perspective
What Will You Master In 2026?
Throughout the end of the year, we will cover all Muay Thai fundamentals and advanced techniques.
In the end of 2026 you have learned:
All 7 traditional Muay Thai elbow strikes
Straight, clinching and flying knees
Low, middle, and high kicks
Clinch work and punches
Footwork, moving in all directions
And Muay Thai shadowboxing
With this knowledge, you can join a physical Muay Thai gym with good self-confidence, or you can continue training with me in January 2027, when we will start to hit a boxing bag and learn to develop power! Oowee!
There is so much to learn before you even need to touch a heavy bag!
If you happen to have a heavy bag at home, we can include it into our weekly lessons as an optional extra. This is our community, and we can make adjustments to ensure everyone gets what they need.
